Info
Caoilfhionn Rose brings her quietly adventurous songwriting to The Victoria in Birmingham on February 11, 2027. Raised in Manchester, she writes songs that feel close-up but never closed in, shaped by nature, dreams and everyday turns of phrase, with piano, guitar and voice at the center. Her sound sits somewhere between psych-folk, dream pop and soft ambient glow, with a jazz-minded sense of space that keeps the melodies breathing.
After cutting her teeth at Manchester open mics in the early 2010s, she crossed paths with The Durutti Column, a collaboration that helped widen her palette. Spotted by Gondwana Records founder Matthew Halsall, she released Awaken in 2018, followed by Truly in 2021 and Constellation in 2024, records where intimate writing opens out into richer arrangements and more contemplative atmospheres. Onstage, that mix translates into songs that drift, land, and pull you back in, the kind of set built for listening as much as feeling.
