Info
Kim Churchill comes to Nuremberg on May 4, 2027, to Club Stereo, bringing exactly that blend—the one that oscillates between folk intimacy and an astonishingly physical energy on stage. At the center is his acoustic guitar, complemented by harmonica and percussion, which he plays simultaneously—not an accessory, but the engine of his songs.
Churchill's songs live on rhythmic dynamism and a voice that carries even quiet moments. There, restrained blues and contemporary folk meet melodies that sometimes lean toward pop, and then again toward edges that recall alternative rock. You can feel the background of street music and life on tour: direct, agile, without unnecessary ballast.
Those who know him will recognize motifs from his albums since the early 2010s—from Detail of Distance to Weight Falls—and from later EPs, in which he thought his songs even more freely and nomadically. An evening for all who would rather follow the groove and the song than the big spectacle.
