Info
On December 15, 2026, at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal, James Lavelle brings UNKLE back on stage with UNKLE Presents: UNKLE Sounds, a date conceived as a journey into the DNA of the project. Born in London in the early 1990s, UNKLE has always existed at the crossroads of electronic, trip hop, and breakbeat, with a taste for cinematic atmospheres and the collisions between machines and guitars.
In this 'Sounds' format, one can expect a set that draws from the different eras: dark and tense collages popularized in the late 1990s up to the more rock and narrative tracks developed subsequently, with the same attention to textures, to slow builds and ruptures. A concert for those who enjoy when electronic music tells images, and when an evening resembles a moving soundtrack.
