Info
On April 12, 2027, Rikas lands at the Ritz PDB in Montreal with its indie pop featuring a supple groove, somewhere between soul, funk and a hint of surf. Born in Stuttgart, the quartet advances in a pack: four childhood friends who share songwriting, voices and live energy, with a real taste for collective harmonies and choruses that stick without forcing. On stage, the group taps into its key milestones, from the EP Swabian Samba to the album Showtime, and into a more narrative period opened by Short Stories and Goodbye Sunshine. Their latest record, Soundtrack for a Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet, extends this idea of a moving soundtrack: tracks conceived as scenes, breathing crescendos, and a constant interaction among the four, in service of a direct, warm and highly rhythmic live show. Guest appearances are also announced to complete the lineup.
