Info
DZIDZIO lands in Edmonton at Midway Music Hall on November 20, 2026, bringing the full-band version of his project for a rare Canadian date. Built around the larger-than-life character created by Mykhailo Khoma, DZIDZIO’s world mixes dance-pop and pop-folk with a sharp comic edge: catchy choruses, club-ready beats, and everyday stories told with the kind of popular language that feels like it’s coming straight from the street. The show leans into that anti-glamour, tongue-in-cheek vibe that turned him into a household name in Ukraine, with plenty of room for singalong moments and quick switches between humor and heart.
Special guest Vasyl Popadiuk adds a different kind of electricity. Ukrainian-born and Canada-based, he’s a violin virtuoso who moves effortlessly between classical technique, Ukrainian folk colors, and gypsy jazz swing. Expect a highly physical, live-first style that can lift a song into something wild and immediate, whether he’s soloing or weaving lines into the band’s sound.
