Info
On March 2, 2027, Tom Morello brings A Night Of Stories & Music to Calgary at Jack Singer Concert Hall, in a format that puts the spotlight on both his playing and the path that shaped it. Expect an evening built around conversation and performance, where he moves between memories, context, and songs, letting the guitar do as much talking as the words.
Morello’s story naturally runs through the clash of styles that made his name: the hard-edged, rap-fueled approach of Rage Against the Machine, the more melodic drive of Audioslave, and his ongoing solo work that flips the perspective, from electric experimentation to acoustic protest-song writing as The Nightwatchman. The set can also open up toward his more recent, collaboration-heavy output under his own name, where riffs meet hip-hop rhythm and electronic texture. The common thread is his hands-on way of treating the guitar like a full sound machine, always tied to themes of social tension and everyday American realities.
