Info
On March 18, 2027, at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, anaiis brings her soft-edged, voice-first world to the stage. Born in Toulouse and shaped by time split between France, Senegal and English-speaking countries, the French-Senegalese singer-songwriter builds songs where soul, alternative R&B and jazz lean into subtle electronic textures rather than big gestures. Her writing moves naturally between English and French, circling themes of exile, vulnerability, and that restless search for belonging.
After early releases online, the EP before zero set the tone: intimate, pared back, and centered on tone and nuance. Since then, tracks like nina and lost my faith have sharpened her modern soul approach, leading into this is no longer a dream, a wider-ranging album that opened her sound up while keeping the same emotional focus. Expect a set that lives in the details: airy grooves, close-up melodies, and a calm intensity that pulls you in.
