Legendary Finnish rock band Kolmas Nainen heads out on a concert-hall tour in late January. The nine-venue Hyvää ja kaunista tour promises gems from the band’s entire career, with and without edge.
The idea is to perform all kinds of material from across the decades: simple, multi-faceted, delicate, rough, hits, curiosities, old, new, and mid-career material. The concert consists of two sets, the first being calmer in character, while the second is more energetic and rock-oriented, according to guitarist Sakari Pesola.
In a career that began in 1982, Kolmas Nainen has sold over half a million records and is known for songs such as Tästä asti aikaa, Lautalla, Äiti pojastaan pappia toivoi, Hyvää ja kaunista, and Valehtelisin jos väittäisin, I would be lying if I said otherwise.
Kolmas Nainen: Hyvää ja kaunista concert hall tour arrives at Lahti’s Sibelius Hall on February 5. The show runs two hours, including an intermission.
