Info
On October 17, 2026, 54 Ultra arrives at EXIL in Zurich – the project of New Jersey-based songwriter and producer Johnny Rodriguez. His songs sit somewhere between indie rock and Latin influences, with synth textures, garage-pop edges, and a dash of soul. It doesn't sound like a clean genre box, but like music that pulls rhythm and melody close together: danceable grooves, clear hooks, and those small cultural references that don't feel forced.
Live, Rodriguez translates studio details into direct energy. Instead of grand show effects, the emphasis is on the interplay of drive and feeling: warm synth textures meet rougher guitar moments, with occasional bright pop melodic lines flashing by and taking hold quickly. An evening for anyone who enjoys something catchy, without it sounding over-polished.
