Info
Equinox brings Ian Pooley to Dublin on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Yamamori Tengu, for a night that puts a key figure of European house back in the booth. Active since the early 90s, the German producer and DJ has built a sound that slips between classic house, tech house, disco touches and warmer, Brazilian-leaning grooves. Across landmark releases like Relations, Meridian and Since Then, Pooley’s approach has always been about supple rhythms, sharp sampling and arrangements that nod to funk and soul without overdoing it.
On stage, he draws from decades of digging and studio craft, including the output he’s championed through his own Pooledmusic label, plus a remix history that runs from Daft Punk to Deee-Lite and The Cardigans. Expect a set that’s fluent, patient and deep, designed for people who like their dancefloor storytelling to unfold over time.
Support comes from OneCanChan, a Dublin DJ with Chinese roots whose selections move between prog, Chicago house, acid, breaks and global sounds, with a clear love for grassroots club culture.
