Info
Current Swell land in London for a show at The Grace on April 14, 2027, bringing their Pacific-coast mix of indie rock, folk and surf-rooted songwriting. Born in Victoria in the mid-2000s, the band built its name the old-school way: tight vocal harmonies, acoustic-to-electric shifts, and that road-worn sense of melody that feels made for rooms where people actually sing along.
Over the years, their sound has moved from breezy, acoustic-driven early records to a more plugged-in, rhythm-forward approach, with guitars that can get thicker and grooves that nod to blues and light reggae without losing the directness. Expect a set that plays on contrasts: intimate verses, choruses that open up wide, and that steady, stage-band energy shaped by long tours and festival gigs.
