Info
Hazlett brings his indie-folk world to Glasgow on March 16, 2027, for a show at Queen Margaret Union. Born in Brisbane and now based in Stockholm, he writes songs that sit right between acoustic intimacy and pop-leaning songwriting, with a voice kept front and center. Onstage, expect spacious arrangements built around guitar, restrained rhythms, and those small electronic details that quietly lift the mood rather than dominate it.
His early releases and the Thundering Hopes EP set the tone: melodic ballads, bittersweet edges, and lyrics that circle doubt, nostalgia, and the push-and-pull of close relationships. With Bloom Mountain, he opened that palette toward a broader alternative pop feel, moving from hushed verses to brighter peaks without losing the sense of closeness. A night for anyone who likes songs that leave room to breathe while still hitting with a clean, memorable hook.
