Info
On 23 November 2026, Adekunle Gold brings his Afro-urban universe to Blue Note London in London for a show that sits right at the crossroads of highlife roots and modern afropop. Lagos-born and raised on Yoruba melodies, he’s built a sound where guitar-led ballads can flip into club-ready grooves without losing that warm, sing-along hook.
From early tracks that put him on the radar to the run of albums that pushed him toward a more electronic, hybrid afrobeats lane, Adekunle Gold has kept his writing melodic and direct, mixing pop instincts with R&B and Caribbean touches. Expect a set that moves between smooth, reflective moments and more percussive, dance-forward cuts, with plenty of space for those Yoruba lines that give his songs their particular swing. This London date is a chance to catch an artist who’s grown in public, always shifting the frame while keeping the same heart in the voice.
