Info
On April 22, 2027, Nottingham Arena hosts Popstars: the Originals, bringing together two of the UK’s most recognisable early-2000s TV-born pop acts: Hear’Say and Liberty X.
Hear’Say return to the stage with the bright, radio-built pop that made them an instant phenomenon after Popstars. Expect the kind of set that leans into big hooks, tight harmonies and that glossy singalong energy that defined their first wave, from Pure and Simple to later singles that kept the momentum going before the group originally wrapped up in 2002.
Liberty X come with a slightly different edge, mixing straight-up pop with R&B phrasing, dance-minded beats and smoother, soul-leaning choruses. Formed from Popstars finalists, they built their own lane with tracks like Thinking It Over, Doin’ It and Just a Little, plus later material that flirted with more electronic pop colours. A shared time capsule of UK pop, played live, with both bands back where they started: on the strength of the songs.
