Info
On April 10, 2027, Lizzy McAlpine brings her “the Over Country Tour” to O2 Academy Glasgow, a chance to catch one of the sharpest US singer-songwriters of her generation in a proper live setting. Her music sits at the crossroads of folk, indie pop, and a softer, late-night pop sound, with subtle touches of jazz and R&B that show up in the phrasing as much as in the harmony.
From the early, acoustic-leaning writing of Give Me a Minute to the broader, more produced palette of Five Seconds Flat, McAlpine has kept the same core: intimate storytelling, melodies that stick without trying too hard, and a voice that knows how to hold back as much as it knows how to open up. With Older, she leans into restraint and emotional dynamics, leaving space for details to land. Expect a set that moves between hushed confession and fuller pop moments, built for rooms like Glasgow’s.
