Info
On February 12, 2027, Yaniss Odua sets up shop at the Splendid in Lille with a reimagined show and a new team, tailored to reinvigorate his repertoire. For nearly 30 years, the Martinican artist has carved out a unique place on the Francophone reggae scene, balancing roots and Caribbean dancehall. He naturally moves between French and Creole, with a phrasing that alternates melodic singing and the energy of toasting, to speak as much about daily life as about social realities, always with the Caribbean in the background. On stage, you’ll find the tracks that have marked several generations, from La Caraïbe to Rouge Jaune Vert, not forgetting Chalawa, carried by a live dynamic that favors collective momentum and the connection with the audience.
As for the opening act, FNX accompanies the tour and opens the evening: a presence conceived as a true passing of the baton, in a dialogue between generations that sets the tone for this new chapter.
