Info
Rod Stewart comes to the Olympia Hall in Munich on 20 June 2027 with 'The Final Encore' and brings exactly the program that has made his career so unmistakable since the 1960s. On stage, rock, folk and soul meet the later pop phases, at times gritty and direct, at times as a grand ballad, always carried by that raspy voice that sits with you from the first note.
Seeing Stewart live, you don’t get a stiff nostalgia show, but an evening that weaves together his different chapters: from the early years between Rhythm & Blues, the Jeff Beck Group and Faces to the long solo career, in which he repeatedly changed his sound. It also includes his love of strong songs by others—covers and standards were never mere accessories for him, but part of the concept. In Munich you can look forward to a cross-section that links hits, classics and a few surprising detours.
