Info
Twin Temple bring their “Doomed Lovers Tour” to The Opera House in Toronto on March 3, 2027, with the kind of show that treats vintage American pop like a spellbook. The Los Angeles duo, Alexandra James and Zachary James, flips 50s and 60s doo-wop and early rock’n’roll into something darker, pairing sweet harmonies and girl-group-style choruses with a steady guitar pulse and a knowingly retro look.
Onstage, their songs move between romance and raw desire, with plenty of religious satire and a strong streak of personal autonomy running underneath. It’s equal parts smoky ballad, rhythm and blues swing, and theatrical “ritual” energy, pulling from their run of releases from Twin Temple (Bring You Their Signature Sound… Satanic Doo-Wop) to God Is Dead. Expect tight vocal hooks, throwback grooves, and a set built to feel like a twisted oldies revue—just with the halo swapped for horns.
