Info
Northlane bring The Anemoia Tour to Calgary on March 14, 2027, taking over The Palace Theatre with their brand of modern metalcore built on tight, syncopated riffs and restless dynamics. Since their early days in Sydney, the band have pushed a progressive, djent-leaning approach where complex structures meet a strong sense of atmosphere. Across key chapters like Discoveries and Singularity, and later the shift into more textured, melodic territory with Marcus Bridge on vocals, Northlane have kept playing with contrast: harsh screams against cleaner lines, heavy rhythmic drive against darker, more electronic and industrial shades heard on Alien and Obsidian. Live, that mix lands as a set designed for both impact and detail, shifting moods without losing momentum.
Joining them, Sweden’s Allt open the night with a sound that sits between progressive metal, metalcore, and djent, driven by rhythmic guitars, broken-up tempos, and thick, shadowy ambience. Their songs move between dense, extended passages and sharper choruses, with vocals switching between aggression and melody, setting the tone for a bill focused on precision and pressure.
