On February 24, 2027, The Womack Sisters lay down their harmonies at the Trabendo in Paris, with this blend of soul and rhythm and blues carried by three voices that respond to one another. Kucha, Zeimani and BG move forward as a trio, playing with the alternation of leads and the power of collective singing, where each timbre finds its place without crowding the others. Their family story inevitably looms over the project, but on stage, it translates mainly into a cohesion and a mastery of the choral parts that draw as much from gospel as from a more contemporary pop-soul.
Revealed in the mid-2010s, they laid the groundwork with a debut 7-inch single recorded with producer Gabriel Roth, If You Want Me / I Just Don't Want You (To Say Goodbye), released in 2017: an organic soul, attentive to its arrangements, that avoids retro pastiche. In live performance, one can expect a set built around harmonies, three-part dynamics, and a tight interpretation, conceived as a real band, not as three soloists side by side.
