At the Grand Rex, the film-concert Amélie and the Metaphysics of Tubes is presented with the participation of Amélie Nothomb.
Immerse yourself in an experience where cinema and music meet: discover the Annecy-awarded film, nominated for the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs, the Annie Awards and the César, on the big screen, brought to life by the live performance of its original score by its composer Mari Fukuhara and the Orchestre Un Pour Tous.
Honored for this delicate score, inspired by French impressionism as well as Japanese sonorities, Mari Fukuhara gives a new dimension to the initiatory journey of the young Amélie.
The evening will be followed by a meeting with Amélie Nothomb, who will revisit the genesis of her novel, her views on this cinematic adaptation, and will engage with the audience during a question-and-answer session.
All audiences, recommended for ages 7 to 107.
