On November 21, the Berlin label Rhythm by Nature lands at Hoppetosse with a lineup of seasoned diggers. A night rooted in the deeper corners of house music.
From London, Gideon Jackson arrives, a vinyl archivist whose work is closely tied to the foundations of the city's tech-house movement. With releases on labels such as Wiggle and Swag, Gideon has clearly contributed to the scene.
Joining him, we welcome Tripmastaz, a Berlin-based vinyl DJ and producer. His productions have appeared on labels such as Cocoon and Bass Culture, alongside co-productions with Ricardo Villalobos and DJ Sneak. His own label Respect The Craft is devoted to the deeper corners of underground house and minimal, in a month in which he also makes his Panorama Bar debut.
Also on the bill is Natasha Kann, a Berlin-based vinyl selector and former resident of About Blank. With an extensive record collection, she weaves warm, complex, and driving sounds and moves between house and techno. Her appearances include dance floors such as Bassiani, Heideglühen, and Panorama Bar.
The lineup is completed by SaPu, label head and Rhythm by Nature resident, a vinyl selector with an expanding body of work on and beyond the label. His current contribution is a remix for Terry Francis, a formative figure of the British underground.
