On October 9, 2026, Canal Reggae drops its bass at Babour Sauvage in Paris, with two names bridging sound system culture and the live stage.
At the decks, Fatta (cofounder of the Parisian sound system Soul Stereo) unfolds a selecta drawn from more than 60 years of Jamaican music. Ska, roots reggae, dub, dancehall, and detours into bass music: he threads through eras and tempos with the energy of the selectors, between classics, rarities, and versions cut to move the dancefloor. A regular at festivals and sessions alongside figures like Johnny Osbourne or Luciano, he arrives with a precise approach, also shaped by his close ties to Kingston.
Beside him, Taiwan MC brings the mic and his hybrid style, at the intersection of reggae, dancehall, hip-hop and dub. Toasting, rap flows, hooks that stick: his live set plays on rhythm and contrasts, between urban influences and Jamaican vibrations. Together, they promise a night of tight selections and razor-sharp performance, engineered for sound, bass, and movement.
