Make way for the king!

The big boss of the explosive renewal of the UK scene at 160 BPM is making his grand return to Marseille at Unité.22—make space for Samurai Breaks.

The oldest among you may still remember the set he crafted a few years ago at the Dock des Suds for one of our Sauvage nights, straddling jungle, footwork, turbo 4x4 bangers and other abrasive bass-music experiments. Now one of the most acclaimed producers on the British scene, Sam is above all one of the best DJs around, known for his choppy, cathartic and frenetic music, and for his turntable skills behind the decks.

Because this new wave led by our guest of the evening is making waves in France, we will also have the pleasure of welcoming the most UK-sounding French DJ, Violet Indigo. Already well known for her singing career and her EPs produced by Joe Mambo, she is above all a DJ capable of delivering explosive sets that traverse jungle, footwork, drum and bass, dubstep, UK garage and UK bass music.

Two icons, then, for a night with pronounced UK influences and next-gen vibes, curated by our big boss Keuj, the club's resident DJ who will unleash his UK madness for this date—to be noted in your calendars.

England takes the Eurostar without stopping in the capital; Marseille becomes occupied territory for one night.

Samurai Breaks
In recent years, Samurai Breaks has established himself as a leading figure in the surge of the British scene at tempos above 160 BPM, winning the Best Breakthrough Producer award at the DJ Mag Awards 2021. This distinction marked a significant milestone for an artist operating outside the genre's usual boundaries, encouraging him to push the uptempo scene further and prove that fast, raw rhythms are not limited to aggressive drum and bass. Since then, he has been touring every weekend while finding time to launch his own label, SSBB (Super Sonic Booty Bangers), and to host events nationwide with headliners such as The Glitch Mob, Sully, Mandidextrous, Fixate, Mantra, Pete Cannon, Itoa, Naina and many others. In addition, a second vinyl release on Hooversound, a series of collaborations with The Glitch Mob, a fully collaborative vinyl with Napes, a first vinyl on the n4 label, a new EP on his own label, and other projects to come.

Violet Indigo
Adept at thunderous mixes, surprising with her cross-genre blends, never short of bangers, Violet Indigo takes to the decks and delivers her vision of the mix. Hip-hop and R&B are her first loves, but she does not hesitate to explore the bass and club music routes to offer a new take on your favorite pop tracks. Violet Indigo embodies musical hybridity, lightness and nonchalance, and the arrival of Gen Z behind the decks.

Keuj
Avant-garde and trailblazing, Keuj has been active since 2014 on the Marseille scene. Creator of the Subdwarf label, he navigates the steepest corners of electronic music to offer unprecedented journeys, both in terms of sensations and musical discoveries. Spanning across the full spectrum of electronic music, his DJ sets know no genre limits.
