Chase & Status bring their World Tour to Berlin's UFO on February 20, 2027. The London duo Saul Milton and Will Kennard have stood for Drum & Bass since 2003, a genre that never sticks to a single tempo: jungle energy, dubstep thrust, hip-hop edge, and occasional forays toward UK garage or Big Beat. Live, that means mainly fast breaks, heavy bass, and a constant shift between raw club power and tracks that also play with song or rap structures.
Those who know their albums from More than Alot through No More Idols up to RTRN II JUNGLE or 2 Ruff, Vol. 1, know how broad their sound is. And it is precisely this range that makes the evening exciting: sometimes uncompromisingly forward, sometimes with vocals and features that break the drum'n'bass framework. In Berlin, this should be a set that propels the night forward rather than explaining itself.
