Baby Berserk (NL)
The trio Baby Berserk was formed in Amsterdam by Mano Hollestelle, Lieselot Elzinga and Eva Wijnbergen. Inspired by fashion icon Vivienne Westwood, Baby Berserk is dedicated to fusing punk, fashion and music into a joyful, glamorous chaos. Blending post-punk, early house and 90s pop, the band delivers incisive and seductive tracks, perfect for dancing at their unpredictable concerts. Never afraid to take risks and often flirting with the absurd, the group will present its new electro-synth-wave album.
Exchpoptrue (FR)
For more than twenty years, the electro group Exchpoptrue has performed at the festival at the Elysée Montmartre, mixing humor and glamour in a frenzy of electroclash hits (Discoteca) and surrounded by their go-go dancers performing synchronized choreographies, all dressed in white.
From the 2000s onward, the group lit up the dancefloors of the Paris underground to Rimini’s nightclubs, and in 2003 it became “Numero Uno” in Italy with its hit Discoteca. The track appeared on roughly fifteen compilations during the summer of 2003, receiving heavy airplay on national radio and topping MTV Italia’s charts. It also features on the soundtrack of Paolo Sorrentino’s film La Grande Bellezza, as well as in the TV series Vernon Subutex (based on Virginie Despentes).
Still as queer and flamboyant as ever, surrounded by their go-go dancers, Exchpoptrue delivers raw and effective pop. Alternating between melancholic dark disco and its Italo origins, Exchpoptrue’s melodies are accompanied by sharp, tongue-in-cheek lyrics about the schizophrenia of our contemporary societies.
After releasing the Capri Bazar EP, they will follow with an upcoming album. A reissue of their iconic tracks has just appeared on the Italian label Mondo Phase in early 2026.
Shortstraw (UK)
“I am a punk/rap artist from Coventry and I record everything in my friend’s shed. We are completely DIY. My very first show was a live lounge on BBC Radio 6, which then allowed us to support Soft Play, The Libertines and Stone in early 2024 (and I also have to appear on Stone’s upcoming album). My sound is heavy, energetic and accessible, and tells stories about growing up in Great Britain, with influences close to Hak Baker, The Streets, The Prodigy, Amyl and The Sniffers and early British punk.” That’s how the artist behind her debut mixtape Coinstar introduces herself.
