Hollywood Porn Stars is a Belgian indie rock band formed in 2002 in Liège. Their music blends raw energy, sharp guitar riffs, and melancholic melodies with influences from bands such as Sonic Youth, Pixies, and Nirvana. The band built its reputation with the release of their debut album, Year of the Tiger (2004), which drew attention across Europe. The album's sound and its dynamic compositions solidified their place on the indie rock scene. Their second album, Satellite (2007), showcased a more refined and atmospheric style while retaining their characteristic intensity. Hollywood Porn Stars have performed at Belgian festivals and venues, notably Ancienne Belgique, Les Ardentes, Pukkelpop, and the Dour Festival. Internationally, they have played at events such as Eurosonic, The Great Escape, Haldern Pop, Paléo, the Vieilles Charrues festival, and Solidays. Despite a 15-year hiatus, the band remains a fixture on the Belgian indie scene. Anthony Sinatra and Redboy have also explored other parallel projects, notably with Piano Club and MLCD, but Hollywood Porn Stars continues to be recognized for its blend of energetic rock and introspective melodies. The band has left an imprint on Belgium's alternative music landscape and beyond.
