Info
Drug Church arrives on September 26, 2026 at Dabadaba (Donostia / San Sebastián) with their distinctive blend of hardcore, post-hardcore, and alternative rock that sounds dense yet direct at the same time. The Albany-based band, led by Patrick Kindlon, plays with a voice that sits between spoken and sung, heavy guitars and melodies that quickly hook, while the lyrics drill into the everyday: frustrations, social relationships, and that sense of stumbling along. In live performance, that balance between abrasive and accessible translates into songs that push you and keep you hooked on the chorus.
Over the years they have sharpened their aim without losing energy: from Paul Walker and Hit Your Head to a more melodic phase, already with Pure Noise Records, with albums like Cheer and Hygiene. On this date, the spirit of their latest material also looms, with that ironic edge and the 'I don’t take it too seriously' vibe that, precisely, makes it all sound more real when the band tightens up.
