Info
On November 17, 2026, Liz Lawrence brings her sharp, melody-first songwriting to Night & Day Cafe in Manchester. Raised in Stratford-upon-Avon and shaped by years of band life before going solo in London, she moves easily between indie pop, lo-fi folk intimacy and cleaner, straight-to-the-point pop writing. Expect guitar-led songs with clear hooks and stripped-back moments that leave space for her voice, alongside a more synthetic edge she’s explored through her duo work as Cash+David.
This show is a chance to hear how her catalogue has grown from early releases like Bedroom Hero to later records that lean into airy textures and a slightly melancholic alternative pop feel, without losing that knack for tight choruses. After sharing stages with Bombay Bicycle Club and popping up as a guest vocalist in their orbit, she steps into the spotlight here with a set built for close attention and sing-along lines.
