On May 2, 2027, Valley arrives at the Nouveau Casino in Paris with its Toronto-born alternative pop, led by a quartet that knows how to make bright guitars and synths ring out without overdoing it. On stage, the band plays with a balance between punchy melodies and supple rhythms, with meticulous vocal arrangements and a vocal part that shifts between Rob Laska and Karah James.
In their songs, Valley speaks of friendship, the turning points of early adulthood, and everything that becomes complicated when relationships come up against reality. An heir to North American indie pop, nourished by the pop-rock of the 2000s, the band delivers choruses that linger in the mind without masking the shadows. From their early releases such as the EP Car Test to the album Maybe, Valley has refined a direct songwriting approach and a live energy designed to be shared in an intimate, mid-sized venue.
