Richard Bona arrives in Poznań with his quintet, and on October 12, 2026 he will perform at the TAMA concert, which revolves around his distinctive fusion of African roots with jazz, fusion, and a more song-oriented sensibility. It is bass-driven music, but not showy for the sake of technique alone: for Bona, melody, pulse, and a voice that smoothly enters into dialogue with the instruments.
In this lineup you will hear a band built around groove and collective work: keyboardist Michael Lecoq, drummer Nicolas Viccaro, guitarist Ciro Manny, and trumpeter Alexandre Herichon. There will be room for longer developments, changes of rhythm, and journeys between Cameroon, Europe, and the Americas, as well as for new threads that Bona today is drawing toward Afrobeat, Afropop, Latin influences, and flamenco.
