Info
Death Cab for Cutie bring their “I Built You A Tower Tour” to History Ottawa in Ottawa on April 4, 2027, for a night built around the band’s knack for turning everyday details into big feelings. Led by Ben Gibbard’s clear, conversational voice, their songs move between jangly guitars, discreet keys, and steady rhythms that leave room for lyrics to hit.
Expect a set that can jump from the lo-fi DNA of their early records to the wider, slow-burning builds that made them a landmark of 2000s indie rock. Death Cab have always balanced restraint and release: tight melodies, patient crescendos, and choruses that land without forcing it. Whether you came in through Transatlanticism and Plans or stuck around for later chapters like Kintsugi and Asphalt Meadows, this show is a chance to catch that same intimate storytelling, just scaled up for a full-room singalong.
