Info
Thomas Dutronc returns to the stage on June 24, 2027 at Casino Barrière Bordeaux with a live project tailored for lovers of standards, balancing swing and elegance. After Frenchy, he dives back into jazz’s great classics and gives them his guitar playing, at once precise and fluid, with that instinct for bounce and melody that is part of him.
The concert traverses Chet Baker’s cool jazz, pays homage to Django Reinhardt’s gypsy jazz heritage, and revisits selections from the Great American Songbook, without freezing them: room for breaths, for re-entries and for improvisation.
To carry this living material, Dutronc surrounds himself with a solid team of accomplices: Éric Legnini on piano, Stéphane Belmondo on trumpet, Rocky Gresset on guitar, Franck Agulhon on drums and Thomas Bramerie on double bass. A lineup conceived as a true band, where virtuosity circulates and where groove links the eras.
