On September 30, 2026, Tricky brings his singular Bristol-born sound to the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver. Back under his own name, Adrian Thaws returns with Different When It’s Silent, an album shaped by years of side projects but driven by a more direct, stripped-back urgency. It’s a set where trip-hop DNA rubs against brittle rock guitars, skeletal blues lines and electronic pressure, all held together by that half-whispered, half-haunting presence that’s always made Tricky impossible to pin down.
This chapter leans hard into collaboration, but on his terms: young Bristol vocalist Mitch Sanders takes a central role, Red Run Rambo drops in with street-level sharpness, and Marta appears as the lone female voice, closing the record alongside Tricky on “Out of Place”. Expect a live show built on tension and texture, where grief, grit and melody sit in the same frame, and where Tricky’s instinct for turning the personal into atmosphere does the heavy lifting.
