Info
Benny Sings arrives in Barcelona to perform at Sala Apolo on November 13, 2026, with that soft and precise pop that blends soul, R&B, and jazz without losing its lightness. Behind the alias is Tim van Berkestijn, a constant figure on Amsterdam's scene since the early 2000s, with a repertoire based on clean melodies, bright arrangements, and a touch of bedroom pop.
Live, it sounds like songs made to endure: small stories, relationships, routine and everyday details, sung with calmness and a lot of intention. The repertoire draws from eras such as City Pop and its funk and Japanese nods, and also from recent records like Music or Young Hearts, where he maintains that intimate yet well-produced tone. A concert designed to let yourself be carried away by the groove, the harmony, and the melodic hook.
