The Lithuanian band Katarsis, beloved in Poland, returns at the start of the year in a format that emphasizes closeness and emotion. On January 23, 2027, in Warsaw at the Niebo club, the band will perform a special unplugged set: no wall of distortion, but more room for melody, tension, and lyrics.
Katarsis was formed in 2019 at the initiative of vocalist Lukas Radzevičius, and the lineup was completed by guitarist Alanas Brasas, bassist Emilija Kandratavičiūtė, and drummer Jokūbas Andriulis. They quickly drew attention with singles, and 'Vasarą galvoj minoras' climbed high on the popularity charts. Their melancholic blend of alt-rock and post-punk in an acoustic version has the potential to sound even more powerful: more intimate, with clearer details and room for dynamics.
