Since 2021, the band has been building a compact, jagged kind of indie rock where noise pop, shoegaze haze and slacker tension collide: short songs, blown-out guitars, abrasive textures, and vocals that stay cool even when everything else is clipping.
Formed around Sebastian Kinsler and Ryan Walchonski, joined by drummer Jake Kelley and later Lydia Slocum on bass and vocals, they’ve moved fast from the early EP modern tourism and the first wave of Hayday to the sharper, more contrasting writing of Girl with Fish. After a pause in 2023, they returned to playing live, and their newer material keeps pushing that balance between melody and distortion, from “This Is Real” to their 2026 album bitknot. Expect a set that switches moods in a blink: hooks buried in feedback, riffs that break apart, and sudden quiet that doesn’t last.
