Few rappers from America's Southern rap underground are as versatile as Pink Siifu. Hailing from Alabama, the rapper and producer has circled the fringe for years, blending punk, jazz, rap and R&B and forging his own distinct musical signature. If you need an introduction, look no further than 2025's noisy "BLACK'!ANTIQUE", a post-genre expression of frustration and joy that's influenced by Sun Ra and Grace Jones as much as by classic hip-hop. He brings his energy to Oczki, a club space in the center of Warsaw.
Also exploring the legacy of America's South is Debit, who grew up on both sides of the border: in Monterrey, Mexico and later in Texas. Her latest album "Potpourri", released on Mexico City's N.A.A.F.I. imprint, explores this experience, examining not just the evolution of tribal guarachero music, but acid house and dub techno, imagining how these sounds might have evolved along a parallel timeline.
Hekt, aka Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Jesper Nørbæk, is threading Scandinavian indie through the wreckage of hyperpop, roping in local heads like Smerz and Fine to help him develop a bubblegum sound that will appeal to fans of underscores, Danny L. Harle and Charli XCX. He's set to close out the night with a DJ set, for anyone who remembers his tenure as one half of wyrd techno duo Code Walk.
Opening proceedings will be local diggers gummi and Taan, the two organizers of Warsaw's Gunge series of bass-heavy events.
