Don Selecta is Don Yaya's vision: evenings inspired by UK Garage culture, where the groove comes first, with a sharp selection at the Label's Pop-up.
Through this project, he invites artists who inspire him and who embody his vision of UK culture.
This third edition, on October 2, will feature a 100% vinyl DJ lineup.
Silva Snipa:
Originating from London and deeply inspired by pirate radio broadcasts that sparked her passion for old-school drum and bass, Silva Snipa began mixing on vinyl during shared sessions.
Today, active for more than five years, both on stage and on the radio, she has made her mark on the scene and is respected for her precise selections.
She regularly performs at iconic venues and events such as Fabric London, Outlook Festival, Grand Soul Central, and Glastonbury.
Silva Snipa will be present on October 2 with a drum-and-bass selection for a two-hour set.
Noon:
Between old-school UK garage and 90s house, Noon is a Paris-based DJ whose sets traverse both soulful sounds and the cross-Channel vibes.
You may have already seen her at Petit Bain, Cabaret Sauvage, Mazette, or Badaboum.
On October 2, she will play a set before handing the mic to Silva Snipa.
Hybu:
A recognized digger and archivist, Hybu possesses a large collection of UK Garage vinyl.
