Toy Tonics Jam Paris brings together on September 12, 2026 at the Rex Club three artists who aren’t afraid to blur the lines, spanning house, disco and more song-oriented formats.
From London, Cody Currie arrives with his knack for supple grooves: a house sound that evokes boogie, broken beat and jazz-funk, driven by rounded basslines, keyboards and percussion that breathe live instrumentation. In a DJ set, he stitches together these organic textures with club-ready efficiency, in the vein of his Toy Tonics releases and the momentum of his album Lucas.
Kapote rounds out the lineup with a dancefloor-ready approach, in keeping with the Toy Tonics sound: precise selection, direct energy and a sense of rhythm.
Geneva offers a guitar-driven counterpoint: heirs to late-90s British indie, they move between dark tension and crisp refrains, with that melancholic vocal that defined Further and the tighter atmosphere of Weather Underground.
