Fontaines D.C. arrive in Barcelona with their 'D.C. From the driving force behind Dogrel to the moodier, more expansive atmosphere of Skinty Fia, and the shift toward broader textures of ROMANCE, their repertoire functions as a journey through several layers of the same inner city: urgency, melancholy, and well-controlled distortion. On stage, those songs stretch out, shed their skin, and gain weight, with bass and drums pushing so that everything sounds compact, tense, and at once open.
