XXL lands in Manchester on November 28, 2026 at Depot Mayfield with a lineup built for speed, pressure, and rave DNA.
Dutch wildcards Vieze Asbak and Natte Visstick come in heavy: abrasive techno, gabber and distorted breaks on one side, and short, brutal hardcore cuts and loop-driven hooks on the other. Expect saturated kicks, noisy textures and constant momentum, closer to a physical rush than any classic “song” structure.
UK hardcore mainstay Darren Styles brings the melodic edge, with the fast tempos and vocal hooks that helped shape the move from early rave into happy hardcore and beyond. Around him, the newer hard-techno wave is represented by Trym’s blend of hard trance and rave tension, and Onlynumbers’ tight, euphoric, kick-led club tracks.
Pegassi switches the angle toward UK garage and bass-heavy grooves, while Faster Horses threads high-tempo techno through trancey, atmospheric pads. Add Yanamaste’s Georgia-to-Berlin energy, Nyra’s deep, supple house/electro-techno touch, and Bella Claxton’s hard house, techno and trance crossover for a night that moves fast and keeps shifting shape.
