On May 29, 2027, at Edinburgh Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Peter Hook & the Light brings its live deep-dive into the Joy Division and New Order catalogue. Built around Peter Hook’s melodic, front-and-center bass lines, the band leans into the tension between early post-punk urgency and the later new wave pulse, with setlists often shaped like a full-album journey rather than a simple greatest-hits run. Expect familiar songs rebuilt for the stage: guitars and drums driving the momentum, synth parts translated into a rock-band attack, and that Manchester atmosphere kept intact without turning into a museum piece.
Also on the bill, The Chameleons return to the kind of dark, spacious guitar sound that made their early records a cornerstone of atmospheric post-punk.
