On March 27, 2027, at Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds, Moses Boyd brings his drummer-producer vision to the stage: UK jazz with its feet in the club and its ears wide open. Raised on London’s scene, he plays with a sharp, constantly shifting feel where improvisation meets grime pressure, Afrobeat swing, broken beat snap and dub space.
Known for the raw, direct energy of his work in Binker and Moses, Boyd has also built a reputation through collaborations that cut across scenes, from Sampha and Little Simz to Four Tet and Sons of Kemet. Live, his drums stay at the center, but the music moves in layers: electronic low-end, Caribbean rhythms, spiritual jazz echoes and soundsystem weight. With the recent chapter around Songs For Sinners, expect a set that leans into voice, gospel and choir harmonies without losing that restless rhythmic drive made for both deep listening and moving bodies.
