Jazzcore takes over one of Jazz after-parties at La Villette, at La Petite Halle de la Villette, to extend the sound of the Grande Halle well into the night.
On the lineup, almost exclusively Z: ZONBI, Ziggy Zeitgeist, and Clémentine, though the idea is really to end on a Y.
ZONBI
Spotted by the Jazzcore team at the latest Trans Musicales in Rennes, ZONBI is a Franco-Japanese-Haitian group that likes to describe its music as 'creole post-punk free jazz'.
Ziggy Zeitgeist Trio
An Australian drummer and producer, Ziggy Zeitgeist moves between broken beat, contemporary jazz, and club cultures. His music is crafted with the reflexes of jazz, but aimed at the dancefloor.
Clémentine
To start immediately, DJ and crate-digger Clémentine, whom you can hear on Worldwide FM with her show Mellow Madness; she was asked to forget the Mellow and keep the Madness.
