Ethan Regan arrives at the Exchange in Bristol on December 10, 2026, with this very personal blend of alternative folk and razor-sharp, unflinching writing that sets him apart. Born in North Carolina and raised near Charlotte, he operates in total DIY mode: he writes, sings, plays, then produces, mixes, and masters much of his material himself. On record as on stage, it remains direct and intimate, but he doesn't hesitate to broaden the frame with fuller arrangements, brass that bursts in, or more cinematic strings. Discovered thanks to tracks that have circulated widely in recent years, Ethan Regan has released a string of EPs, up to honey honey honey (2025), led by "get by" and "spaceman," before continuing to release new tracks in quick succession. A regular headlining act in packed venues, he has also shared the road with Sam Barber, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler, and Jeremy Zucker. In live performances, he pushes even further what makes his thing: a songwriter's presence, unfiltered, that bets on nuance as much as on energy.
