I Muvrini, the Bernardini brothers’ group, returns to the stage with NULU 33 ("Cloud 33"), a new chapter of eleven tracks where Corsican polyphony remains the anchor, while opening to other shores. Their singing, carried by several voices, preserves this link with island tradition and with texts in Corsican, sometimes intertwined with French, between transmission and collective momentum.
On this repertoire, the arrangements create bridges: a Portuguese guitar that brushes against fado, choirs that broaden the horizon, touches of a more urban groove, and guests who color the vocal material, including soprano Kelly Poukens. The ensemble sketches a "borderless symphony" conceived as a crescendo of intensity, with this simple idea running through it: that nothing separates us.
I Muvrini will perform in concert on May 20, 2027 at the Casino Barrière Bordeaux, in Bordeaux.
