From Madrid to Amsterdam — Beatfreak Recordings joins UNDRGRND for Amsterdam Dance Event 2026.
Founded in 1997 by Spanish electronic music pioneer D-Formation, Beatfreak has spent nearly three decades shaping its own corner of the underground. Moving through progressive house, melodic house and techno, indie dance and deeper electronic territories, the label has built an international reputation for music that balances emotion, groove and dancefloor energy.
Its catalogue has featured artists including D-Formation, Quivver, Nick Muir, Betoko, Citizen Kain, Dmitry Molosh, Marc DePulse, Oscar L, Stan Kolev, Teenage Mutants, Hannes Bieger and many more.
In 2026, Beatfreak continues to push forward with releases such as Darksidevinyl’s hypnotic Afro-melodic cut “Mwanga,” including a driving D-Formation remix; the atmospheric “Ocean EP” from GRAZZE and Andrew Sar; and the latest edition of its respected compilation series, “Elements 11.”
This October, the Beatfreak sound lands in Amsterdam as two underground families come together during the city’s biggest week for electronic music.
