On November 19, 2026, in Berlin at Urban Spree, two acts will come together that prefer to tell their stories in Darkwave and Post-Punk more through atmosphere and melody than through grand gestures. Bragolin, the Dutch project led by Edwin van der Velde, works with Bass VI lines in an '80s spirit, organ shadows from the '60s and '70s, and slightly washed-out shoegaze guitars. The result: cool, danceable songs with a horror-film flair and a penchant for earworms. Since at least the debut I Saw Nothing Good So I Left (2018) and the track Into Those Woods, Bragolin has been a fixture on dark dancefloors; later, Let Out The Noise Inside (2019, with Adam Tristar) became even more synthetic. In 2026, I Don't Like What It Does To Me follows as the next chapter, this time even more layered and sonically experimental. Carrellee brings to it her Noir Synth-Pop: a softly sensuous voice that weaves through charred synth walls and tape textures. Coming from the folk scene, she has steered her sound with co-producer Brett Bullion decisively into electronic — MicroKORG and DX7 included. On stage this directly intersects Bragolin's world: Feel This Flame Unfold is their joint duet.
