Born from the meeting of two musicians, AFAR moves along a razor-thin line between the natural and the industrial, constantly playing with the friction between the organic and the electronic. The duo shapes tracks where the rhythms sometimes take a genuine dancefloor turn, carried by voices that glide amid the synthetic textures. Elsewhere, AFAR slows down, stretches the material and builds more atmospheric sequences, made of dense, multi-instrumental soundscapes, like breaths amid the pulsations. A way of telling the distance, the contrasts, and everything that happens between the two. AFAR will perform on October 1, 2026 at La Boule Noire in Paris.
